PRVNL75 — Merrill 3/4" No-Lead Brass Pressure Relief Valve.
A pressure relief valve is cheap insurance for a cold-water system: as water heats and expands with nowhere to go, or a pressure tank fails, the PRV opens automatically to bleed off the excess before it can split a pipe or blow a tank. Merrill's no-lead brass PRV is factory set and field-adjustable across a 75 to 150 psi range, with a rated setting accuracy of +/-15%, and is recommended on every cold water system installation to protect piping and pressure tanks from over-pressure damage.
