FVNL150 — Merrill 1-1/2" No-Lead Brass Foot Valve.
A foot valve mounts at the bottom of a well's suction or drop pipe to hold the prime in the line between pump cycles, so a jet pump doesn't have to re-prime from scratch every time it starts. Merrill's no-lead brass foot valve pairs a precision-cast body and poppet with an abrasion-resistant O-ring that seals against a tapered, self-cleaning seat, and a stainless steel screen keeps debris out of the suction line. A Delrin guide bearing keeps the poppet moving smoothly and quietly through every cycle.
