Goulds 5CS05422C – 5 GPM, 1/2 HP, 230V 2-Wire, 4" Submersible Well Pump

The Goulds 5CS05422C is a 1/2 HP, 5 GPM 4" submersible well pump from Xylem’s Goulds Water Technology CS4 line, built with an all-stainless-steel water end for continuous-duty residential and light-commercial groundwater supply from 4" or larger wells. This complete pump and 230V single-phase (2-Wire (PSC)) motor is built around a 12-stage pump end.

Construction:

• Discharge Head & Motor Adapter: Cast AISI 303 stainless steel for strength, durability, and rigid motor-to-pump alignment -- two cast-in safety line loops for installer convenience
• Casing, Bowl, Shaft & Shim: AISI 304 stainless steel, hex-shaft design for positive impeller drive; coupling is AISI 304 SS with powder-metal construction
• Impeller: Noryl® -- FDA-compliant, corrosion-resistant, non-toxic engineered polymer
• Diffuser: Lexan® -- FDA-compliant engineered polymer, resistant to abrasion and wear
• Bearings: Proprietary engineered polymer bearings; upper bearing spider is Noryl® GFN2
