The Goulds 2BF12034 is a 2 HP close-coupled centrifugal pump from the Goulds 3642 line, sized 1-1/4 x 1-1/2 - 5, in bronze fitted construction with an open drip proof motor. It runs on 208-230/460V, three phase, 60Hz, 3500 RPM power.

Construction & Features:
- Design: Close coupled, space-saving design -- no flexible coupling or bedplate required. Can be mounted in vertical or horizontal position.
- Casing: Cast iron, ASTM A48 Class 20, volute type, back pull-out design; discharge can be rotated in eight positions (standard vertical shown); tapped openings for priming, venting, and draining
- Impeller: Bronze, ASTM B584 C87500 (lead-free), enclosed design for high efficiency, threaded directly onto the motor shaft, balanced for smooth operation. Stainless steel impeller locknut on three-phase models requires no clearance adjustments.
- Adapter: Cast iron, ASTM A48 Class 20
- Shaft: Stainless steel motor shaft carries the impeller directly (no separate pump shaft)
- Mechanical Seal: Standard carbon/ceramic faces, BUNA-N elastomers, 300 series stainless steel metal parts (Seal Type 6, P/N 10K10); optional Ni-Resist, EPR, and Viton seal configurations available for elevated temperature or chemical service
- Motor: NEMA standard, close-coupled design; ball bearings carry all radial and axial thrust loads; designed for continuous duty within the motor's working limits. Overload protection and heaters must be provided in a separately ordered starter unit.
