Franklin 2791669004 8-inch submersible motors are typically used in large demanding water wells requiring high flow rates or deeper installations. These motors are tough, built to last, and come in a variety of construction options.

• These motors provide large amounts of water for irrigation, community water systems, and factories where large flows or pressures are required. We understand how important it is to produce reliable systems to avoid significant costs due to failure or downtime.
• The Franklin 8" submersible motors come equipped with a double Flanged NEMA mounting design, a stainless steel splined shaft, and a high capacity Kingsbury type water lubricated thrust bearing. They come factory filled with Franklin’s non-toxic water soluble fill solution and come with StatorShield, Franklin’s six feature encapsulation system. All models are variable frequency drive (VFD) approved.
• The Hi-Temp motor was designed and built in response to many requests for a motor that can operate dependably in wells with high temperatures and/or low flow conditions. The Hi-Temp 75C 8” motor utilizes a new, premium encapsulation process and new water soluble coolant to allow continuous operation in water temperatures of up to 75 ºC (provided minimum allowable rates of flow past the motor are maintained). In addition, this design is capable of handling thrust loads 25% higher than a standard motor without using oil. Franklin’s Hi-Temp 75C is the right choice for your demanding, high temperature well applications.
