2-60-F — Merrill Spin-Down Sediment Filter, 2" pipe, 60 mesh.
This filter uses centrifugal spin-down separation to pull sediment out of well or municipal water before it reaches your fixtures and appliances: water spins through the housing, and debris is thrown to the outside and settles in the reservoir at the bottom, away from the screen, where it stays visible through the clear, high-impact polymer cover. When the cover shows sediment building up, opening the built-in ball valve flushes it out in seconds -- no disassembly, and no replacement cartridges to buy, since the polyester or stainless steel screen is cleaned and reused indefinitely.
