SSR1000B — Merrill Safety Rope.
A safety rope is tied off to the pump or wellhead as a secondary support line, so a submersible pump's electrical splice and drop pipe aren't the only thing holding it in the well during installation, service, or retrieval. Merrill's rope is 1/4" braided polypropylene rated to exceed 1,000 lb. of break strength, wound on a 1,000' spool in high-visibility yellow.
