MPS4060 — Merrill No-Lead Pressure Switch, 40/60 psi.
The pressure switch is what actually turns a well pump on and off: it watches system pressure and closes its contacts to start the pump at the cut-in setting, then opens them to stop the pump once cut-out pressure is reached. Merrill's switch uses solid brass contacts with a larger contact surface than budget alternatives for more reliable switching over years of cycling, and a two-spring design with a removable cap lets the cut-in and cut-out points be field-adjusted.
