WS422510 — Merrill Cast Iron Well Seal, 4" Well, 1-1/4" x 1" Drop Pipe.
A well seal caps the top of the well casing around the drop pipe and pump cable, sealing out surface contaminants and insects while still providing a vent and a cable tapping for the installed equipment -- keeping the well sanitary is the whole point. The split top plate design lets the seal be installed or serviced around an already-hung drop pipe and cable without having to pull the pump, and a thick rubber packer compresses down around the pipe for a tight, lasting seal as the retaining bolts are tightened.
