The Goulds CentriPro CB10MC3R is a Magnetic Contactor (MC) pump control box sized for 10 HP, 230-volt, single-phase 6" CentriPro (Hitachi) submersible well pump motors -- built for use with motor number 6M101. A built-in magnetic contactor lets the system run on a standard pressure switch instead of a separate heavy-duty switch or field-installed contactor.

It is not compatible with Franklin Electric 6" motors -- the overloads and capacitors differ from Franklin Electric’s components, and using this control box on a Franklin Electric motor (or a Franklin Electric control box on a CentriPro motor) will void that manufacturer’s warranty. All wiring must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local codes and the National Electrical Code.
