The Goulds 6M152 is a 15 HP, 11 kW, 230-volt, three-phase 6" submersible well pump motor (3500 RPM, 2-pole), sold as a motor only for pairing with a compatible 6" submersible pump end. It features a stainless steel canned design built for long service life in abrasive, sandy well conditions.

Construction & Features:

• Frame: Stator coil mounted in a stainless steel frame, completely sealed in a stainless steel cylinder; the space between the stator's can and frame is filled with a specially formulated, heat-resistant patented resin
• Lead Wire: Replaceable plug-in motor lead, 150in (150") long and field replaceable; Ethylene-Propylene rubber insulated chloroprene cabtyre cable, color coded
• Sand Protection: Double-row, grease-packed, lip seals with a carbon steel slinger (baked epoxy coated) to keep sand out of the lip seal area, plus a close-tolerance (.02in) slinger guide fit for additional sand-intrusion protection
• Stator Laminations: High quality electrical-grade silicon steel for high torque, even under nominal voltage variation
• Rotor Balance: Balance rings on each end of the rotor for excellent dynamic balance
• Bearings: Two carbon, water-lubricated sleeve guide bearings to align the shaft and reduce whipping
• Cooling: Water-filled design -- internal cooling water is mixed with antifreeze/antirust liquid, allowing storage down to -22°F (-30°C); two water plugs are provided for filling, draining, and checking the water level
