The Goulds WE1512HH is a 1-1/2 HP, 230V single-phase submersible effluent pump from Goulds WE Series (Model 3885), part of Xylem’s Goulds Water Technology line. It is rated to handle solids up to 3/4" spherical through a 2" NPT discharge, running at a speed matched to its hydraulic design RPM. The table below shows this pump’s flow rate at four fixed total dynamic head (TDH) points, so you can match it to your specific lift and distance requirements.

  • Horsepower: 1-1/2 HP
  • Voltage / Phase: 230V Single-Phase, 60 Hz
  • Discharge: 2" NPT
  • Solids Handling: 3/4" spherical
  • Liquid Temperature: 104°F (40°C) continuous, 140°F (60°C) intermittent
  • Power Cord: 20 ft standard, optional lengths available

Flow Rate at Fixed Head (TDH):

  • 10 ft. TDH: 95 GPM
  • 15 ft. TDH: 93 GPM
  • 20 ft. TDH: 90 GPM
  • 25 ft. TDH: 87 GPM

Construction:

  • Impeller: cast iron, semi-open, non-clog with pump-out vanes for mechanical seal protection, dynamically balanced for smooth operation (silicon bronze impeller available as an option)
  • Casing: cast iron, volute type, for maximum efficiency
  • Mechanical Seal: silicon carbide vs. silicon carbide sealing faces, stainless steel metal parts, BUNA-N elastomers
  • Shaft: corrosion-resistant stainless steel, threaded design with a locknut to guard against damage on accidental reverse rotation
  • Fasteners: 300-series stainless steel

Applications: Homes and farms, trailer courts, motels, schools, hospitals, and industrial effluent systems - anywhere waste or drainage must be disposed of quickly, quietly, and efficiently.

Warnings: This pump must be connected to electrical service protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) where required by code. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury or death and property damage.

Do not run this pump dry for extended periods or operate it outside its rated flow and head range. Follow the manufacturer’s wiring, grounding, and float-switch/control-panel instructions for your specific installation.
